Once again Sean Kelly will be joining SportActive on selected cycling weeks in 2009. This will be your chance to ride alongside the Legend. Sean will be staying at the SportActive Cycling Centre hotel with our clients and will be on hand during the week to chat about his experience at the top level of international cycling.
Sean Kelly was the world ranked number 1 cyclist for 48 consecutive months.
His Major Wins were:
Tour de France: 5 stages, 4 green jerseys
Vuelta a Espana: 1 overall win, 16 stages
Paris-Nice: 7 consecutive wins
Paris-Roubaix: 2 wins
Liège-Bastogne-Liège: 2 wins
Giro di Lombardia: 3 wins
SportActive has built up a strong reputation as one of the top training packages in Majorca, and had a very successful 2008. We are now taking bookings for next year’s programmes on the island.

SportActive training weeks and cycling holidays cater to all levels of ability and needs:
* training camp for competitive cyclists preparing for a busy racing season
* training for endurance cyclists preparing for a summer of Sportive's

* or simply cycling in the sun for relaxation and fitness
Our format is very simple, you book with us and we do the rest!
The SportActive Cycling Center is located in Puerto de Alcudia, on the north coast of the island, close to the fantastic Tramuntana mountains. It is based in the magnificent Aparthotel Estrella de Mar & Spa****, offering one of the best facilities in Majorca for all your cycling needs.
SportActive Bike Garage in the Hotel: with Mechanic and Bike Shop; sale of all bike accessories, energy drinks & bars, full range of SportActive cycling kit, selection of cycling clothing. Daily free drinking water for the bike rides.
Guided group rides: 5-6 different levels.
Bike Hire: We recommend you hire your bike with SportActive in Majorca. We have for hire 60 top quality new Cucuma bikes - exclusively for SportActive, supplied by our bike hire partner, Velo Sport Team Mallorca. All bikes are equipped with Shimano 10 speed Ultegra and Mavic race wheels.
Price per week: 100 € + 2 € bike damage cover per day (strongly recommended!). This compares favourably with the price of taking your own bike at around 84 € (£ 57): no hassle, no stress, no damage!
Take your own pedals and helmet. Cycling helmets are compulsory on all cycling activities with SportActive.

The full package includes:
* 7 nights half board in the magnificent Estrella de Mar
* Price based on two sharing one apartment
* Bike garage with on-site mechanic service and daily free drinking water
* 5-6 organised and guided runs in ability groups
* Flights: return flights from UK or Irish airports - if option chosen
* Transfers: airport hotel airport (for groups of minimum 4 persons in the same flight & transfer)
