SportActive gives you the chance to ride with the “King of the Classics” and to get an insight into what it must have been like for the professionals in the heat of Competition :
Sean Kelly will be one of the Team Leaders of the SportActive group during this trip, running from 30th of July until August 2nd.
The route of the Sean Kelly Classic covers some of the roads used in the Liège Bastogne Liège Classic. Sean Kelly is no stranger to this area, having been the winner of Liège Bastogne Liège in 1984 and 1989.
There are four ride options (30, 70, 130,190 km) in order to give everyone the chance to get a taste of a Classic route, choosing the distance that suits best.
Sportactive have secured a number of guaranteed entries in this mass peloton of 6000 to 7000 riders. With our growing reputation of quality and efficiency all you will have to do is turn up and ride.
Package Programme
· A 4 day trip from Thursday 30 July to Sunday 2nd August, 2009.
· Thursday 30th July 2009: flight to Bruxels Zaventem airport
· transfer with private coach to our Hotel in Vielsalm.
· Accommodation: we shall stay in a hotel in Vielsams, close to the start and finish of the Sportive. Accommodation is Half Board, twin rooms on a basis of 2 sharing.
· Friday 31st : SportActive collects the race numbers and holds a briefing to inform the group about all the details for next day.
· Saturday 1st : on the day of the Sportive you ride to the departure at Baraque de Fraiture in Vielsalm. Departure times will be between 7:30 and 10:00
· During the Sportive, feeding stations are available ; (details will be provided) a back-up car for support will be available to take you back to the Hotel in case of necessity; you will have a telephone number to call.
· Sunday morning is a recovery time
· Sunday afternoon a private coach takes us back to Bruxels airport for the flight home

2. Package with flight :
a. We invoice you the flight at cost +10% administration charge
b. The best financial option for you is to book the flight yourself, and save the 10% charge
What is included:
· Return flight with bike carriage on aircraft (if option choosen)
· bus transfer for you and your bike to the Hotel and return
· 3 nights Half Board in Hotel, base 2 sharing; comfortable large rooms, on suite
· secure bike storage in the hotel garage
· registration to the Sportive
· assistance with a car in case of abandon to bring you back to the Hotel
Not included are :
· single supplement (may not be available)
· private medical insurance & travel insurance

· The booking form with your full details as requested on the form
· a deposit of : 250 € for the package without flight ; 400 € for the package with flight

· balance to be paid up to the 30th May, 2009.
· copy of your valid cycling licence (no international licence requested, national licence accepted)
· OR, a medical, if you do not have a cycling licence.
