2010 TOURS

Cape Argus Challenge – South Africa – 6-16 March 2010

Escape wintry Ireland with an eight night stay in South Africa, exploring the
picturesque wine region and the surrounding coastal areas around Stellenbosch,
before heading to Cape Town to tackle the world largest cyclosportive event, the
Cape Argus Challenge. We will be based in a highly regarded winery for the first
five days, before travelling down to Cape Town in preparation for the Cape
Argus. Shark-diving, whale-watching and a full day safari are just some of the
activities on offer.

Étape du Tour 2010 – 12-19 July 2010

As the Tour makes its centenary return to the Pyrenees, this is your chance
to ride what should prove to be the decisive stage in next year’s Tour. Our
week-long package includes guaranteed entry into L’Etape, where you will join
8,000 other cyclists as they climb the Col de Marie Blanque, Col du Soulor and
of course the Tourmalet. We have also prepared a fantastic week of fully
supported cycling leading up to L’Etape. From our idyllic base at
Bagnères-de-Bigorre, we will climb the mythical peaks of the Aspin,
Peyresourde, Luz Ardiden, the Aubisque, the Hourquette d’Ancizan, as well as
the Tourmalet from both sides!

French Alps & L’Alpe d’Huez – 21-25 August 2010

If you crave high altitude cycling then this is the trip for you. Centred around
the completion of the fabled route of La Marmotte, which takes in the climbs of
the Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier, before a finish
at the summit of Alpe d’Huez, for a total ascent of 5000 metres. In addition,
you will have the chance to test yourself against the times of Lance and Pantani
with an Alpe d’Huez time trial, as well as the opportunity to tackle other
peaks including the Col du Glandon, Col du Lauteret, Les Deux Alpes, Col d’Ornon,
Col de la Morte and the climb to Chamrousse. You will enjoy the support of our
van at all times should the going get too tough!

Pyrenean Reconnaissance – 30 April – 5 May 2010

For those of you looking to kick-start your season, this trip is the perfect
opportunity to hone your fitness before the summer. From the same base as our
Étape trip, we will climb the principal parts of July’s Étape routes, as
well as many of the key Pyrenean climbs featured in our Étape trip. Numbers
will be limited on this trip so if you are interested then don’t delay.

Loire & Burgundy – June 2010

If like us you appreciate your food and drink as much as you do your bike,
then what could be more appealing than four days cycling through the wine
regions of Loire and Burgundy, with trips to some of the world’s most renowned
vineyards? We will be staying in the charming towns of Sancerre and Chablis,
enjoying Michelin-starred cuisine and sampling the best of the local vintages.

Full information on all of the above trips is now available on
our website. Our website also allows you to sign up to our newsletter, so that
you can keep updated on any developments to our 2010 season.
