Details of more than 700 events now available

Cycling Ireland has launched the 2019 Events Calendar.

Riders planning to ride one or more than over 700 officially sanctioned events across four broad divisions can access the details on the Cycling Ireland website.

The Calendar has been split into four areas:

Road Events, Leisure Events, BMX, Off-Road and Track Events, and Club League.

Riders can filter information regarding each specific discipline and subscribe to iCal or RSS feeds.

Details in the calendars are subject to change and riders and interested parties should check individual event websites and other media channels for full details in advance.

The Leisure season has already started with 8 events in January and 12 in February. There are 301 leisure events currently scheduled with more set to be added on a regular basis through the year. There are 329 competition road racing events across the four provinces and 83 events planned for off-road, BMX and track racing.

The news comes as the governing body continues its transition to new premises at the National Sports Centre, Abbotstown, County Dublin.
