LCF Touring League 2001 Winner........

Mick Kinsella - Carlow Road Club. Mick wins the prize of a Pinarello road frame, sponsored by the Cyclesuperstore in Tallaght.

The the final positions were close for the top slot, with one of the youngest contestants being just 13 years old, finishing in the top 10.

The League took into account 24 ICF club touring events across the province, starting in April and finishing with the last event in Navan on December 26th. Points were awarded depending on the degree of difficulty of the event.

There were also 10 prizes of a one year subscription to a cycling magazine for the top 10 placed ICF licence holders.

The "mug shot" shows Mick Kinsella being presented with his award by Ray McKenna LCF, which took place in January at Mick's surprise 60th. birthday party, organised by his wife Ann, herself an ICF race Commissaire.
