“For the 3 routes on offer, 586 cyclists turned up and rode their choice of circuit. All had a great day and Stephen was delighted to be involved and remarked he will be back for a bigger event next year where we may even hold a race the night before and a pasta party etc to attract more competitive cyclists to the event with their families and friends.
The target for the Tour De Cure of €35,000 has been exceeded and we think we will surpass the €40,000 when all money is collected over the next week or so. The event website will then highlight where the funds went so all can see the difference this event can make.”
