hello there..

I'm 36 and i was 14 when Roche won the tour in 87....had alot of posters of him on my wall growing up...i was a little shocked by Paul Kimmage's choice of words when he said that lance - cancer has returned to our sport...I cant stand lance armstrong...i had a friend of mine who worked around him in 96 on the tour du Pont and he treated him like absolute shit...but the thing with lance is he generates so much money and is a big cash cow he isn't going to be taken down..to take him down would mean alot but i don't see it happening, i think its funny that AMGEN who makes EPO is one of his sponsors and no one makes fun of that..i really don't like the guy...but sadly he is untouchable..the doping thing i don't pay attention to..its always been there and now it seems fashionable to talk about in some odd way in cycling and i hate it..i want my sport to make headlines for outstanding achievement not tossed and turned into some gossip thing..makes me sad and mad..

I am from an Irish family and i know i have folks over in Ireland that are related to me..i just have not found them..i really wish i could come over to Ireland to ride and i wish i could make some Irish cycling friends to come ride with.....i remember Sean Kelly winning the tour of Ireland i wish i could have been there..ive been away from riding for a couple of years because i had a bad accident with my back..I'm in the process of riding again though, on the trainer and im at the gym 4 or 5 times a week..what ever happened to Stephen Roche's line of bikes..i wanted to get one but i don't think he is doing the bike thing or the cycling trips anymore..im paying on a Specialized tarmac but if i had my way id try to find a good frame builder..i don't think they should make a bike thats 14 pounds and expect some one 195 pounds to ride it and it feel good to them..Ive got to loose some weight since ive been off riding but my race weight is 185 pounds and I'm 6'1..

When i started riding big guys were put on reinforced frames made out of Columbus max tubing..and 36 3x wheels....i just feel like there is a big chunk of the bike biz thats not addressing this...im 205 right now and i can tell you most bikes i can flex the head tube area side to side flimsy like..i didn't feel this with the tarmac so we will see..anyway you guys have alot to be proud of...Roche was a super champion and Ive heard a nice guy...I hope his son finds some of his own success..must be a hell of a thing to have Roche for your dad...i'm book marking your site..
