RAS NA MBAN 2009:
By letters to IrishCycling.com
15 Sep 2009,

Email this article
Hi my name is Paul Deans, last year (2008) I drove for Team Coogee-Saar (German Ladies Team) in Rás na mBan and you were kind enough to allow me the opportunity (on behalf of the Team) to use your website to thank and praise both Valerie Considine and Louis Moriarty for a fantastic job they did in organising and running "Rás na mBan 2008"

I must confess that at the time I thought well “this is as good as it gets” well I was wrong, both Valerie and Louis surpassed themselves this year with an even greater event plus the added bonus of sunny Mediterranean weather conditions, tough circuits and great racing

Like last year the race HQ was based on the "Ring of Kerry" in an idyllic location facing out onto the Kenmare bay in Louis Moriarty's Sneem Hotel & a joining apartments. The race package included accommodation in these beautiful high standard 2 & 3 bedroom apartments with breakfast and dinner, the quality of both the meals and service rivalled any 5 star establishment.

I would grateful if I could impose on your generosity again to say to both Valerie and Louis thank you once again for a wonderful experience; I'm already impatiently waiting for "Rás na mBan 2010" which I understand will be held once again in Sneem, Co. Kerry.

kind regards

Paul Deans
On behalf of Team Bike Aid (formally known as Team Coogee-Saar)

----

PS: If you are considering planning a few days away from the maddening crowd I highly recommend you visit the "Ring of Kerry" and stay with Louis in the superb surroundings of "Sneem Hotel", don't just take my word for it, have a look at their website www.sneemhotel.com
