Twenty one women braved the elements on Wednesday night for a 5 mile TT at the Boot Inn. Six of these were new to the league, ranging from complete beginners to National Champions. Conditions were dry buy extremely windy. The fastest riders on the circuit were Roisin Kennedy (Stagg LCRC), Louise Harliwich (All Systems DWCC) and Geraldine Gill (EC Evel Bavok), but when the handicaps were taken into account, it was Chloe Farrell (Rathsallagh CC) who came out best, followed by Kennedy and Orwell Dundrum SC’s Ieva Japertaite.

These results move Kennedy up into the top spot on the league table, followed closely by Harliwich and Japertaite.
The next event will see a return to Road Racing at the Boot Inn at 7pm on June 7th, and will be followed by refreshments.
