2025 McGinty Autumn Classic - Video Highlights

Gareth O’Neill was the winner of the inaugural McGinty Autumn Classic for C1's in Wicklow on Sunday and Rian Cahill came out best in the MJ Duncan Classic for the C2 riders.

Torrential rain fell for most of the race which started in Arklow and went out to a 15km undulating circuit which finished on the old N11 close to the Beehive.

Race Day Format – Sunday, September 14th, 2025

We’re proud to host the inaugural McGinty Autumn Classic — a new fixture in the Irish racing calendar, designed by riders, for riders. Backed by a generous €4,000 prize fund, this event rewards both grit and strategy. The winner of the C1 race will take home a top prize of €1,000, with further prizes across both categories including 7 C1 prime of €50 for each lap of each race and 5 C2 primes of €25 euro.
