Eurosport To Show Rás na mBan – Broadcast Details

First Broadcast Scheduled for Thursday Afternoon at 4.30pm

Ireland’s international stage cycle race Rás na mBan will be broadcast on Eurosport UK TV tomorrow, Thursday 19th of September.

The half hour highlights programme will be shown at 4.30pm on Eurosport 2 and will feature action from the 18th edition of Rás na mBan based in Kilkenny and surrounding counties as 22 teams of five riders do battle over six stages and five days for the coveted race leader’s magenta jersey.

Ireland’s Mia Griffin and Caoimhe O’Brien joined their team mates from the DAS Hutchinson Brother UK squad to battle teams from all over Europe and the USA with riders from 13 nations including Olympic and world championship riders.

The highlights show will be shown on a number of occasions on Eurosport UK in the coming days.

Ireland’s international stage cycle race Rás na mBan will be broadcast on Ireland’s state broadcaster, RTÉ TV tomorrow, Saturday 16th. The half hour highlights programme to be shown at 11.30am will feature action from the 18th edition of Rás na mBan based in Kilkenny and surrounding counties as 22 teams of five riders from 13 nations did battle over six stages and five days for the coveted race leader’s magenta jersey.

Overall winner was Ireland’s Olympic star Mia Griffin while her DAS Hutchinson Brother UK teammate and Irish under 23 road race champion Caoimhe O’Brien featured among the stage winners in the event which concluded at Kilkenny Castle last Sunday.

The highlights show will also be available on the RTÉ Player from Sunday.
