The 2025 Irish Dowwnhill MTB Series blasts out of the gates this weekend as Round 1 heads to one of the sport's most iconic venues, Carrick Mountain in Glenealy, Co. Wicklow. Hosted by Gravity BC, this opening round on 10th & 11th May marks the return of elite-level downhill racing.

Carrick has long been a favourite on the IDMS calendar and for good reason. Known for its length and intensity, the track features high speed flow that links up big jumps, off-camber turns and technical rock sections that reward precision, control and fearlessness. It's fast, it's physical and it's not for the faint of heart. With the 2025 season wide open and national ranking points up for grabs, expect a stacked field and serious competition across all categories.
