In 2003, Tom Daly wrote a book on the Ras Tailteann, he held a book launch in Dublin and invited many of the Rás winners and volunteers. This get-together was an important event in Irish cycling, having so many of our great riders assemble for the launch.

Now many years later, as time goes by we have lost many of these great people. I had planned to put this collection together over the winter but with the loss of Gene Mangan and Peter Doyle this year, I have put this together now.

DEDICATION

I would like to dedicate this video to the memory of all those 'Men of the Rás' and volunteers who helped with the Rás over the years and are no longer with us.
