The 2026 Dornan Rás Mumhan concluded today with a dramatic final stage into Killorglin, bringing four days of high-level international racing across Munster to a close and delivering a fitting finale to one of Ireland’s most prestigious stage races.

Today’s closing stage saw aggressive racing from the outset as teams looked to challenge the general classification on the traditional Killorglin circuit. Repeated attacks on the McKenna circuit and through Beaufort kept the pace high throughout, with no opportunity for the yellow jersey contenders to settle.

Following yesterday’s decisive climbing stage to the Kerryman’s Table, Curtis Neill of Velo Performance Racing Team came into the final day after taking one of the standout victories of the race, while Danylo Riwnyj of Foran Cycling Team London remained under pressure in the overall classification after consistently strong performances across all stages.

Earlier in the race, Josh Callaly claimed victory in Stage 1B to Knockanure, while Nick Hoorsman of West Frisia took a major win on Stage 2 into Portmagee, helping shape one of the most competitive editions in recent years.

The 2026 edition once again attracted a strong international field, with riders from Ireland, Britain, the Netherlands and Belgium contesting five demanding stages across Kerry, Cork and Limerick.

Race organisers thank all host communities, volunteers, An Garda Síochána, Civil Defence, marshals, sponsors and local residents whose support ensured another safe and successful running of Dornan Rás Mumhan across the Easter weekend.
