TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT - Track World Cup V - Cambridge, New Zealand
The penultimate round of the Track World Cup takes place this weekend in Cambridge, New Zealand, with Ireland sending sprinter Robyn Stewart, as the rest of the team prepares for the finale of the Olympic qualification series in Hong Kong.
Robyn Stewart will compete in the Women's Sprint on the second day of competition, taking place from 10pm on Friday night, Irish time, and the Women's Keirin, from 11pm on Saturday night, Irish time.
This weekend’s action is the fifth of six Track World Cup meetings taking place this season, with a rider's best three results counting towards Olympic qualification for Tokyo 2020.
Ireland is likely to field its largest team for the final found in Hong Kong next weekend, as the build-up to the Games continues for Team Ireland.
