O’Brien and Creighton to represent Ireland at Junior Track World Championships

Aoife O’Brien and Erin Creighton will represent Ireland at the UCI Junior Track World Championships in Tel Aviv, Israel from August 23 to 27.

Both riders competed in the European Junior Championships last month in Anadia, Portugual gaining invaluable race experience competing against the best in European.

O’Brien will compete in the omnium and elimination race while Creighton will contest the points race and scratch race before partnering for the Madison on the final day of competition.

National junior coach, Martin O'Loughlin said:

"Both Aoife and Erin have worked very hard since the European Championships with two training camps in Ghent this month. They can look forward to the World Championships with confidence."
