Large Irish Team to Compete in Euros in Montichiari, Italy this week
The Irish cycling team has arrived in Montichiari, Italy ahead of this week’s UEC Track Juniors and U23 European Championships which take place from the 12th – 17th July. With Ireland entering one of its largest teams at an international event, the race schedule is full for the six days across both sprint and endurance categories.
Four U23 riders and seven juniors will compete across twenty four events, including the Madison, an exciting event that Ireland hasn’t previously entered at this level. The competition takes place in the Montichiari Velodrome in the Brescia region of Italy from Tuesday 12th to Sunday 17th July.
