Launch of New Murphy & Gunn Cycling Club

Murphy & Gunn Cycling Club have just announced the launch of their new club at a special event at David Lloyd Gym & Health Club last night.
Building on their success, as the first professional Irish racing team with Sean Kelly in 2006, whose sponsorship was subsequently taken over by An Post in 2008. The Murphy &Gunn Cycling Club are now keen to develop, a first class amateur racing club. Key sponsorship will be provided by the Murphy & Gunn Group and fellow sponsorship partners Cubic Telecom, David Lloyd Gym & Health Club Riverview and Harry’s Bikes, Clonskeagh.

“We are hoping to attract new male and female amateur cyclists of all ages to the club and we are extending a welcome to all cyclists who would like to join us. We are a social club and while we have a competitive ethos, we believe we offer a superb opportunity for those who wish to join a cycling club for the first time and improve their fitness, cycling skills and enjoy cycling in a friendly club environment.“ commented Stephen Murphy, Team Principal.” Murphy & Gunn have had a strong commercial partnership with David Lloyd Riverview over the past few years and we hope to build upon this with our new partners Cubic Telecom and Harry's bikes to deliver one of the best amateur cycling clubs in Ireland.
