Rás na mBan moved into County Laois for Stage 3 today, with Britain's Emma Jeffers leading home a 1-2 for Team DAS-Handsling, crossing the line in Mountrath ahead of teammate Monica Greenwood.
Yesterday's stage winner Tiffany Keep of Team Hutchinson-Brother UK rounded out the podium, which was enough to move the South African into magenta jersey as the overall leader of the race.
Ellen McDermott was the first Irish rider home in fifth place, while Linda Kelly remains in the lead of the Best Irish Rider classification. The riders head to County Waterford on stage four for a 102 kilometre stage, starting and finishing in Tramore.
