4th April 2020 10:00, Fairyhouse Racecourse, Co. Meath

The Shabra Charity Foundation Cycling Challenge takes place on the 4th April 2020, starting at 10:00, at Fairyhouse Racecourse in Co. Meath. The event will also finish at the racecourse.

Sign-on and registration will run from 08:30 to 09:45. Online registration, available via Eventbrite (closing 2nd April 2020), is strongly advised to ensure you are not disappointed on the day, as numbers will be limited.

Parking is available at the Fairyhouse Racecourse car park.

Routes
There are two routes to choose from, catering for cyclists who are capable of cycling at 18+ km/hour (for the 50km route), or 21+ km/hour (for the 110km route), for several consecutive hours.

Why are we running this event?

In December 2019, our club chairman and dear friend Francis "Francie" McGee suffered a traumatic head injury. Thankfully, Francie has received the all-clear from his neurological team. The care and support that Francie received inspired us, at Ratoath Wheelers Cycling Club, to work with our chosen charity, the Shabra Charity Foundation, to dedicate this event towards raising funds towards providing a Neurosurgical Visualisation Microscope for Beaumont Hospital.
