Stuart Wight of the Hot Tubes Team in America closed off the deal when he won the overall in the Junior Tour which finished on the outskirts of Castlebar this afternoon. The Canadian from New Brunswick went into overall lead on Wednesday and despite constant attacks over the four days, with the aid of his team he managed to control the event. It was also a good week for the Hot Tubes team when they collected the overall team award. The final stage over 42 miles was won by Felix English of Stena Ireland who won the opener on Tuesday but fell away on stage two.

"This is my first time to Ireland and I really enjoyed the racing. I have to say the roads are not as smooth back home. It was an all round team effort and I'm sure Hot Tubes will be back next year to defend the overall and team. For me I have to prepare for the Junior Worlds in Italy next month in the Canadian colours of course," said Stuart as he celebrated his win in Lough Lannagh Village, sponsors of the final stage.
