JUNIOR TEAM SELECTED TO RACE IN GERMANY

This season the Women's Commission have selected a team of Junior Women to race in Paderborn, Germany. The team will race in Junior races in Belgium on the 23rd and 24th August, and will travel to the Junior races in Paderborn the following week.
The team was selected based on the performance of the riders in the challenging National Championship circuit, along with their performances in the National League races this season.
This year we introduced a demonstration event for Juniors in the National Championships. Castlebar Junior, Elaine Cawley, claimed the national Junior title in both the Road and the Time Trial. She will be joined on the team by Fintona's Rachel Withers, and Jessica Laird (North Down), who have been riding strongly in the Senior events this season.
The Women's Commission have received several invitations to races this year, and have selected the following Irish Development Teams to race in the below events. Selection was based on performances in the National League, National Championships, and subject to being a member of the Development Squad.
