ARKLOW CRITERIUM RACE CANCELLATION

The Sea Breeze Festival Criterium Arklow in the Calendar for the 19th July 2008 is cancelled.

Through an oversight it was included in this year's calendar. In any event there were objections by some locals to it.

However, the 2 day Underage races on the 26th and 27th July are definitely going ahead with final preparation in progress.

The first race will on the Saturday the 26th at 2.30 pm. Signing on is at the Arklow Rocks GAA grounds, Cemetery Road, Arklow.

For details contact Sam Darcy at 05394-80713 or myself Michael Considine at 087-9866992

MTB NEWS

Notice for any rider planning on entering the World Masters MTB Championships:

We have received confirmation from the UCI that they do consider the Irish National Championships to be an event on the International Calandar. That means that entering the Elite Irish National Champs will prevent a rider from entering the World Masters Championships. Could you please ensure that members of your clubs etc are made aware of this.
