Round two of the Irish Cross Country Mountain Bike Series takes place this Sunday in Carlingford Forest in County Louth. This is the same venue that was used for the NPS event in 2007. The race will be promoted by Cuchulainn CC.
The opening round of the XC NPS took place last Sunday at Ballinastoe in County Wicklow with a superb entry enjoying a great day of action in supreme sunny conditions. Min results were as follows:

In recent events riders have complained of being baulked by other competitors who basically won’t let them passed. Please be sporting and allow a rider to pass. MTB Commissaires have been told to watch the situation in races over the next few weeks.
