The Boot Inn League is starting Wednesday, 30th April!
The Boot Inn League a fantastic introduction to Ladies Racing in Ireland, so don’t miss the first race!! Ladies only!!
The 1st race will be a coached race, i.e. all those ladies who are new to racing will have the opportunity to get good advice from experienced coaches including Scott McDonald, Aidan Hammond and Geoff Liffey, while riding. The aim is to help new ladies get to know basic racing tactics and strategies, and to build up confidence for the league.
The Boot Inn League has been going for many years now. Races are held on a flat circuit near Dublin airport on Wednesday evenings (about twice a month). The field is anything from 15 to 35 girls strong, and races are handicapped. Whether you are a complete newcomer or experienced, this league will suit you.
If you live in town and want to ride out with a bunch of girls, meet at the GPO at 5.45pm.
Directions: FROM THE M50. Take the exit for the airport. Turn right at the Main Airport Roundabout in the direction of Swords. Turn left at the roundabout (just past the coachman’s inn). Follow the road until you come to another small roundabout, taking the first exit. Turn left after about 100 yards. The Boot Inn is about half a mile down this road, on the left hand side.
