The An Post M Donnelly Grant Thornton Sean Kelly team put in another good performance at the GP Cerami in Belgium at the weekend, as the team continue to improve on the back of a great showing at the recent Tour of Majorca.

A strong field of 150 riders set a fast pace from the off that did not let up throughout the day. An Post team member, Daniel Lloyd, was in a group of seven that broke away with 20km remaining, but he drifted back from the front before a final sprint of 44 riders ensued, where Benny De Schrooder put in a great push to finish fifth. Lloyd was four places behind him, giving the An Post M Donnelly Grant Thornton Team two top-ten finishers. Daniel Fleeman was 38th and Viktor Folkesson was ten places further back.

Ireland's Paídi O’Brien and Mark Cassidy finished behind this leading group of 44 riders, coming in 1 minute 31 seconds and 1 minute 44 seconds back.

Overall, team manager, Kurt Bogaerts, is delighted with how his team have been performing of late. "We're riding really, really well at the moment and we're just looking forward to the upcoming races in Spain, where we hope to keep up the form we have shown lately."
