The first race in the Zoo Hair Salon and Velotex National League was won by Fiona Meade (St. Finbarr’s CC), last weekend (2nd March 2008).
16 riders turned up in Broadford, Co.Limerick to compete in the race hosted by Cycling Pursuits.
On the line Fiona Meade won, from Lucan’s Roisin Kennedy. It was on this course last year that Meade claimed the Munster Women’s Title.
The next National League race takes place on 30-03-08, in Bohermeen, Co.Meath.
