The Bray Wheelers Cycling Club will be holding an open day for schools at the Bray Wheelers Club House on Schools road, Boghall on Sunday 10th February starting at 10am.

The aim of the day is to give any interested children and teachers an idea of what the Bray Wheelers have to offer. There will be a short cycle in the morning which will be led by some of our experienced club members followed by some short talks back in the club house which will cover topics including,

• The types of cycling available – road, track and mountain biking
• Cycling safety and bike check
• An introduction to racing and how to get started
• Club membership and insurance

The open day is open to all school children aged 10 years and over children and teachers should bring their bikes and helmets if they wish to join the morning spin. There will be showering facilities and refreshments provided after the spin.

For further details please contact Declan Crean on 086-8730196.
