UCD Club Scholarships
UCD Cycling Club is currently offering up to 2 (standard permitting) Club Scholarships - be they road or off-road - to current UCD students or recent graduates.
Each scholarship is valued at approximately €800 and the lucky rider(s) will receive a Cycling Ireland licence, UCD CC jersey & shorts and race entry and travel expenses up to €600. The closing date for applications is January 18th.

Winter Trail Quest League Round 3 - Sunday 20th January 2008
Dromara Winter Mountain bike Trail quest Round Three and 53km Leisure Cycle [For the road bikes]
Dromara Cycling Club are pleased to announce the third round of our popular trail quest winter league. So far over 100 people have entered these fun events, with a competitive twist, raising over £1000. Next Sunday the 20th January, Dromara CC will be running the third round from the superb facility of Shimna Valley, Bryansford Road Newcastle. Dromara Cycling Club hopes the turnout will be larger than the previous Trail Quests at Dromara and Seaforde.
To assist in raising money and to let all those who enjoy leisure cycling, Dromara Cycling Club are providing a second option,a 53km leisure cycle. This will start at Shimna valley on Sunday 20th January at 11am. This will provide time for those who want to get a few extra miles to cycle to the start or just come along for the 35 or so miles. The route avoids all large climbs, heading out towards Castlewellan, Ballyronney and Hilltown, before returning to Newcastle. Shimna Valley are very kindly providing sandwiches and refreshments.
The Entry fee for Leisure Cycle is £5. If you would like to take part, drop Trevor an email, as this helps those providing the catering.
