Saturday’s physiological testing for women cyclists in the AALSA centre in Dublin was a great success. 28 women signed up for what was a fantastic opportunity for Irish female cyclists to rub shoulders with some of Ireland’s biggest talents in the sport. Attending cyclists included Jenny Fay,who races at the highest level of world cycling. Coleen Foley Development Squad, Roisin Kennedy Leinster TT Champion and Rachel Withers (Fintona CC), an aspiring female Junior cyclist.
The test is a basic physiological test to find out which type of cycling your legs are best suited for. It includes a 4 min. session at high output. The day was oversubscribed, so another testing day will be arranged in January. It is vital test for any motivated competitive cyclist and a fantastic opportunity to take such a test, so we strongly recommend you put your name down for January if you haven’t already done so. Keep checking this website for updates.
