The Tour of Ireland charity cycle challenge kicks off at the Island Civic Centre, Lisburn (tomorrow) Friday, May 11th 2007. It finishes at the Garda Centre, Westmanstown on Monday afternoon.
A late surge in entries has seen the startline numbers increase to over 200 cyclists from all over Ireland and the U.K. Title sponsor's Kellogg's and the rest of the organisation team are hoping for some good weather, however, showers are expected en route.
The tough 4x stage event taking in Lisburn, Cavan, Galway, Kilkenny and back to Dublin via the Wicklow mountains will be directed and co-ordinated by the NCBI Blazing Saddles support team. There has been great cross border co-operation in a week that saw many, many smiling and happy faces at Stormont.
A great start to this unique all Ireland charity cycle challenge.
