A "wheelie" brilliant win for Glen: (By Ben Shorten May 13) 

GLEN KINNING (X-MTB) celebrated his second Expert Category victory in this series by pulling a wheelie over the finishing line. Even with a grid place he found about fifteen riders ahead of him in the scramble to the first bend. By the top of the first hill, however, he was into second place, and then he hit the front where he stayed for the rest of the race. PAUL NEWNHAM (Team MBUK/Scott), who was beaten into second place by Glen on their last outing, was closing the 30-second gap on lap 4 when an unfortunate puncture finished his challenge. Glen came home to the cheers of a growing band of fans, 29 seconds ahead of MARCOS SCHIER (Richmond Cycles) and 59 seconds ahead of third-placed ROSS ADAMS (Red Kite Cycles).
